Less chasing. More advising.
I help small estate-planning firms take the admin off the attorney's desk: the follow-ups, reminders and paperwork that slow every matter down. Before I build anything, I'm listening to the attorneys who live it every day.
Most legal software is built without asking the people who use it.
I'd rather start with your real week. Here is what the research already says about small firms. I want to know which parts are true for yours, and what it misses.
Inquiries go unanswered
In a mystery-shopper study, two in three law firms never replied to a potential client's email. Only 20% returned a missed call.
Files wait on clients
After the design meeting, plans stall while clients find asset lists, return questionnaires and book the signing. The drafting is rarely the hold-up. The waiting is.
Flat fees absorb the chasing
Three in four solo firms charge flat fees. Every hour spent chasing a client or answering follow-up questions comes straight out of the margin on that plan.
If I can find the one problem that costs small firms the most, I can build something that actually helps. That starts with your answer.
Your time is valuable. Here's what you take away.
The call is about your firm, not about me. You leave with something useful either way.
What other firms are doing
A short, anonymous summary of what estate-planning attorneys across Florida, North Carolina, Georgia and Texas tell me: what slows them down and what they've tried.
One practical idea
An outside look at your client journey, from first inquiry to signed plan, with one change you could make on your own. If I don't have one, I'll say so.
First look, no obligation
If what I build fits a problem you described, you hear about it first and can try it before anyone else. If it doesn't fit, you won't hear a pitch.
Confidentiality is my field, not an afterthought.
My background is data protection law, so I hold myself to the standard you hold your firm to.
I'm Jesse Otutu.
I trained in law and specialised in data protection. Today I design and build the systems that run behind professional work: intake, deadline tracking, reminders and record keeping, the parts nobody went to law school to do.
My last build was a privacy request desk (watch the 2-minute demo) that logs requests, calculates statutory deadlines and sends reminders before anything is late. Now I want to bring that kind of help to small estate-planning firms, starting with what you tell me you actually need.
